ABOUT SURROUNDING AREA Pepieux, is a charming village, with supermarket, baker's/boulangerie, post office, pharmacy, hairdresser, and restaurant/café/bar. There are also tennis courts, to which as house guests you will have free access. Apart from a large church and an adjoining house with 12th century frontage, the most notable site within walking is the Dolmen des Fades - The Fairy Dolmen - a megalithic tomb dating back 3,000 - 5,000 years, which is one of the largest in the area.
